Bloom Where You're Planted!

Hi All,

I'm still making lots of new goodies. My newest passion is covering buttons with old linens and hankies, I obviously love vintage things. I'm also using lots of big plastic vintage looking flowers which I hand paint and am always on the hunt for enamel vintage flower pins at a good price! I'm still riding my sweet horse and spoiling her way to much by letting her graze in the dessert grass but it will all dry up way too soon. I love this lone little flower growing in the sand and rocks, it really says "bloom where you're planted. (If you ever wonder why I don't post pics of my DARLING grandson Rudy his parents prefer his pictures stay off the internet) Rudy is getting so big, sitting up and loves to sit in the cart and go shopping! (he may have inherited that from me!) Here's a few pics of some new stuff. I've got lots of great jewelry and hair goodies, come check it out for Easter! Still open Wednesdays and call for other times. Thanks, Karen 602-793-2310

Spring Break!

Just a quick post to let you know I'm open this Wednesday during break, I already had my fun vacation so busy working. I'm excited to be wholesaling to a couple new places including a boutique in Washington. Still building my ETSY site, had some sales, very exciting! Breezy enjoying the yummy grass in the dessert by Salt River on a fun ride. Have a wonderful break, Karen

1 more checked off the bucket list!

Hi
Just back from NYC did lots of fun stuff but the Martha Stewart show taping was the ULTIMATE highlight. I love her show, watch it everyday! We were lucky enough to sit in the lower seating front ROW! They even commented on my necklace (It wasn't the most subtle piece ever Ha) The audience was given a goody bag and her new cook book. Lucky us! Thanks to my friend Elizabeth knowing someone, after the show went on a private behind the scenes tour of the entire company, test kitchen, magazines home, prop room, photo studio and even saw Martha's private office. What an impressive operation, everything was beautiful, organized, and welcoming just as you'd expect. Our bellman said he had friends who said Martha would stop and give people rides to work sometimes as she drove in from her home. How nice. Anyway you can tell I'm a little over the moon about the whole thing. Went to the amazing Brooklyn flea got some fun pieces, the center on the black necklace is from there and was from a women who used to make eclectic pieces for Vogue magazine shoots. I still love my bird nest necklaces, perfect for spring. I hand make each nest in all sizes in both gold or silver tone. Email me with any questions and I'm still open on Wednesdays and working on growing my ETSY site. I just need to stay home and work! Happy soon to be spring!
